Poptropica Villains

In Poptropica, you play the role of the hero, saving the day each time you play and complete one of the islands. Your reward? An island medallion–a testament to your incredible awesomeness. But what is a hero without a villain to defeat? In Poptropica, you’ll find plenty of villains in the different quests. Some are simply mean, but others are downright diabolical. In this guide to the Poptropica villains, we’ll meet some of the more famous ones.

Dr. Hare

Poptropica Villains - Dr. Hare

Dr. Hare has dastardly plans for 24 Carrot Island

He’s the buck-toothed villain of 24 Carrot Island and he’s got an evil plot to take over the world. But first he’s taken all the carrots! In this quest, it’s up to you to put a stop to his plans, which culminate in the revelation that he has built a giant rabbot–kind of a spaceship robot in the shape of a rabbit. You’ll defeat him by smashing his rabbot to pieces when you make it collide with asteroids in space.

The Super Villains

In Super Power Island, there are several villains you’ll meet. Some of the toughest super-villains out there have all escaped from the county jail and it’s up to you to track them down and bring them to justice. You’ll meet Copy Cat, Sir Rebral, Speeding Spike, and Ratman along the way. In the final battle, you’ll take on Betty Jetty in one of the most difficult boss fights in the game.

Director D

At first, Director D appears as your supervisor in Spy Island, but soon it is revealed that he’s a double agent and is secretly in charge of B.A.D., your enemy spy agency. Director D, who is also bald, has hatched a plot to make everyone else on Poptropica bald as well. Can you stop him and rescue all of your fellow agents?

Binary Bard (a.k.a. Mordred)

Mordred, also known as the Binary Bard, is the star villain of Astro-Knights island. He left Arturus and kidnapped the princess. It’s up to you to find and defeat him, return the princess, and find out what happened to the three Astro Knights who set out before you and failed. It’s a whole lot of adventure in one island, and the final battle scene with Mordred is very tough to complete.

Black Widow

The world’s most notorious art thief is the mysterious and dangerous Black Widow. She’s masterminded a plot to steal the famous painting known as The Scream and it’s up to you to put a stop to her plans. But you’ll soon discover that there’s more to the Black Widow than meets the eye.

Zeus

The gods must be crazy. For eons, Zeus, Hades and Poseidon have divided up the realms of the sky, the underworld and the sea. But now Zeus has created a plan to rule over all of Poptropica and only you can stop him. Mythology Island concludes in an epic battle with Zeus himself. Watch out for those lightning bolts!

Captain Crawfish

Oh, the poor citizens of Fort Ridley. It’s a small island in the middle of the ocean. It’s also the target of the dastardly pirate, Captain Crawfish. He’s been looting and pillaging the island while searching for the mysterious buried treasure of Skullduggery Island. He’s too powerful to take on at first, so you’ll need to earn lots of doubloons through trade in order to buy a ship and crew powerful enough to put an end to Crawfish’s pirate ways. In this quest, the final battle scene takes place on the high seas, cannon to cannon.
