Paid members in Poptropica have another chance to get the Hypnotic Costume and the Cryptids Nessie Hat in the store this week. They have returned as part of the month-long birthday celebration for Poptropica, where they are bringing back some really rare costumes. The Cryptids Nessie Hat was originally a prize for spotting Nessie in the sneak preview version of Cryptids Island. The Hypnotic Costume was originally hidden in Early Poptropica behind a flower pot in one of the windows. Both items were unavailable for a long time so now paid members have one more chance to get them. But that ends on September 30 when Poptropica removes these items from the store, along with the other rare costumes that have been re-released this month.
The Cryptids Nessie hat is just a big hat with an inflatable Loch Ness monster. It looks pretty funny. The Hypnotic costume has two pieces: a yellow and orange swirl t-shirt and matching goggles. It also comes with a crazy haircut where your hair is sticking straight up.
