Game Show Island comes out today, but that’s not the only news from Poptropica. The launch date for the new adventure, Legendary Swords was just announced. It will be on 11/11/11 (it would be really cool it they launched it at 11:11:11 am, too!) This game will be unlike any other Poptropica quest so far. There will be more combat and action than you usually see in the quests and mini-games. You’ll have to battle robots who are trying to invade Poptropica and to defeat them, you’ll use different powerful swords that you find throughout the game. Members will get to play the complete adventure and non-members will get a limited preview mode. But at least everyone gets to play.
There’s now a whole page on the Poptropica Web Site about Legendary Swords and there are a few new screenshots, wallpapers and more details about how it will work. They also give a short introduction to the storyline behind the game. It’s all sounding pretty exciting and comes in just two weeks!
