Poptropica players can get a new outfit in the Poptropica Store this week, but only if you are a paid member. The new outfit is called the Mystery Train Inspector and it looks exactly like a Sherlock Holmes detective outfit. It even has a giant magnifying glass that you can peer through when you use the outfit’s special move (hit the space bar to activate). You cannot purchase this outfit with credits, you can only get it if you are an active member.
I love Sherlock Holmes stories, which were written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. There were many different novels written in the late 1800s and the first one was called, A Study in Scarlet. There are also lots of Sherlock Holmes movies and the most recent ones star Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes. It would be really cool if Sherlock Holmes made an appearance on Mystery Train Island, but even if he doesn’t, you can pretend to be him with this new outfit from the store!
