Check this out. Cryptids Island has not yet been released, but you can now go visit a sneak peek version of this new island before it is available for members to play. The part that is available is an area near Loch Ness where Nessie the Loch Ness Monster is supposed to live. You can explore around the area and then go up to the castle to look through the viewfinder. You get one look per day and if you spot Nessie in the viewfinder then you win a special Nessie Hat. There’s a good cheat to earn more than one look per day: if you don’t spot Nessie, just close your browser or refresh the page and log in again. You’ll get another chance.

Here is another exclusive piece of news. This is what the Cryptids Island Medallion will look like. Pretty cool, huh? And check out the Replay button. This might mean that soon we’ll be able to replay some of the islands on Poptropica even if we’ve already solved them.
