The newest island in Poptropica arrived on Thursday, December 15. It is called Ghost Story Island and you will encounter all sorts of spooky supernatural creatures in the fictional town of Hemlock Harbor. Members will be able to play the entire adventure in Early Access. Everyone else will have to wait about a month to play the full island, but a limited demo mode is available to get started.
The story behind the island is that ghosts are haunting the small New England town of Hemlock Harbor. Equally worrisome are the ghost hunters who have crowded the town hoping to find evidence of the supernatural. Maybe they’re all the same people from Cryptids Island. Who knows? As you investigate the rumors, you’ll uncover a lengthy story of love, loss and betrayal.
